Turning on of Christmas Lights in Limerick City this Sunday November 17th
15/11/2019

Due to the Christmas lights getting switched on in Limerick City this Sunday, our stop at Superdrug on William Street will be inaccessible for buses on the 307 and 308 routes. All 307 and 308 services on Sunday will start from the bus stop at Future Sound and Vision, Upper William Street.

Our stop at Arthur’s Quay will be fully operational all day Sunday for all buses on the M7 Express 300 route. However, please leave extra time for your journey as there will be very heavy traffic, and a lot of pedestrians in Limerick City on Sunday afternoon and evening.

M7 Service: Notice Regarding Bus Stop at Kildare Outlet Village

Due to roadworks taking place, our regular bus stop at Kildare Village will be inaccessible each night this week from 8pm until 6am the following morning.

A temporary stop will be in operation during these hours (20:00 - 06:00), 100m from our regular stop closer to Kildare Town.

Temporary Stop Location

From 20:00-06:00 each night, please go to a temporary bus stop which will be located 100 meters from our regular bus stop, closer to Kildare Town. 

Please note: The temporary bus stop will only be in place from 20.00-6.00am each night. Outside of these times we will continue to use our regular bus stop.

Clocks changing on Sunday: Note regarding 1.00am services from Ennis and Tralee on Sun 27th Oct

Both the 1.00am service from Tralee and the 1.00am service from Ennis will depart at 1.00am Summer time on Sunday morning.

The clocks will then move back an hour when these two buses are in transit. See the revised times for these two services:

From Ennis:

  • Bunratty: 1.20am (Summer Time)
  • Arthurs Quay: 1.45am (Summer Time)
  • UL: 2.00am (Summer Time)

From October 14th, we will depart every 15 minutes from William Street and UL from morning to evening. Also serving Childers Road, Ballysimon Road, Castletroy and Groody Link Road.

M7 Service: Temporary Stop Change in UL this Sunday 29th September
27/09/2019

Please note that our bus stop at The Stables in UL will be closed this Sunday 29/09/2019 between 11:05am and 2:00pm, due to the mini marathon taking place on the grounds of the campus.

During this time on Sunday all buses will use the bus stop located between The Stables and The Flagpoles. 

How to get to our Temporary Stop Location

The Stables walk towards The Flagpoles, past the new library building, through the roundabout, and the bus stop is on your right  hand side.

September Student Competitions at Dublin Coach

N7 Service: Temporary stop closure at Naas Post Office - Saturday 17th
16/08/2019

Due to the Naas Community Event, we are unable to service our Naas Post Office Stop between the hours of 10:00am and 18:00pm on Saturday 17th August 2019.

Alternative Stops

Passengers travelling towards Dublin can use our stops at Naas Fire Station or Naas Cemetery.

Passengers travelling towards Portlaoise can use our stops at Kildare Council Offices or Tara Court.

M9 Service: Use of temporary stop in Cork ends 6pm Friday 16th August

Dublin Coach will continue to use the temporary bus stop on Alfred Street, Cork City until 18.00 on Friday 16/08/2019.

After this time we will revert to using our regular bus stop on St Patrick’s Quay.

M1 Service: Temporary relocation of Dublin stop this Saturday August 3rd

Dublin/Belfast customers please note, due to the Liffey Swim this Saturday 3rd August 2019, our usual stop in Dublin will not be accessible from 9:00 - 18:00 Sat 3rd.

During this period all Dublin Coach arrivals and departures will be from a temporary bus stop located on George's Quay. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

M9 Service: Temporary relocation of Cork stop 19th July - 16th August

Cork customers please note, due to the installation of water pipes at St Patrick’s Quay, Cork, our usual stop in Cork will be inaccessible from Friday 19/07/2019 until Friday 16/08/2019.

During this period, all Dublin Coach services will arrive and depart from a temporary bus stop located on Alfred Street.

Due to the Ring of Kerry cycle taking place tomorrow, 06/07/19, our departure point will be temporarily moved from our regular stop on Mission Road to outside the car park on Lewis Road between 11:30am and 18:30pm.

Use the Free Travel Pass on our M1 Belfast - Dublin services from July 1st

Dublin Coach is delighted to announce that effective from Monday July 1st 2019 we will accept the Free Travel Pass and Dfl Smart Pass on our express M1 Dublin to Belfast route.

Our M1 express service departs from Glengall St. Belfast and Custom Quay, Dublin City Centre, providing 16 non-stop daily services in each direction. So, from July 1st grab your Free Travel Pass and travel in luxury from Dublin to Belfast in under two hours.

We will continue to accept the Free Travel Pass on all of our other routes.

You can now plan a trip with Dublin Coach to Kildare Village, The Waterford Greenway, Limerick, Killarney, Ennis, Kilkenny, Cork, Dublin City or Dublin Airport on presentation of your Free Travel Pass.

Temporary change for Dundrum Main Street stop on Sunday 30th June

Due to the Dundrum Arts Festival taking place, Dundrum Main Street is closed next Sunday June 30th between 13:00 and 18:00. Please use our stop at Dundrum Luas or Wyckham Way.

M7 services: Temporary changes due to Great Limerick Run, Sunday 5th May

As the Great Limerick Run is taking place on the streets of Limerick this Sunday 05/05/2019 Dublin Coach must make some changes to the bus stops used on the day in Limerick.

Alternative pick-up and drop-off points will be in operation as follows:

  • Arthurs Quay stop: temporary stop on Dock Road between 08:00 - 16:00
  • UL stop: temporary stop next to the Hurlers Pub between 08:30 - 13:00
  • Annacotty stop: not affected

Arthurs Quay Stop:

The stop at Arthurs Quay will not be used between 8.00am and approx. 4.00pm on Sunday 05/05/2019.

Any customers wishing to board buses during this time from Limerick City going to Ennis, Tralee, Killarney or Dublin please go to a temporary bus stop which will be in place on the Dock Road near Limerick 95FM studios. Signs will be in place to indicate the temporary bus stop.

We will send updates on social media on Sunday to indicate when the Arthurs’s Quay stop will reopen.

The Stables Stop, University of Limerick:

The stop at The Stables, UL will be closed on Sunday 05/05/2019 from 8.30am to approx. 1.00pm.

Any customers wishing to board buses during this time going to Ennis, Tralee, or Killarney please go to a temporary bus stop which will be located at the bus stop opposite The Hurlers Pub, Dublin Road, Limerick. Signs will be in place to indicate the temporary bus stop.

M7 Service: Clocks changing on Sunday morning note regarding 1.00am services departing Ennis & Tralee

Both the 1.00am service from Tralee and the 1.00am service from Ennis will depart at 1.00am Winter time on Sunday morning. The clocks will then move an hour forward when these two buses are in transit.

Use the Free Travel Pass on our M9, Dundrum-Airport & Portarlington services from April 1st

Dublin Coach is delighted to announce that effective from April 1st we will also accept the Free Travel Pass on our M9, Dundrum to Dublin Airport and Portarlington services.

  • The M9 service departs for Dublin 10 times daily from Waterford and 9 times daily from Kilkenny & Cork.
  • The Dundrum service departs 42 times daily from Dundrum to Dublin Airport connecting with our other services at the Red Cow Luas.
  • The Portarlington service departs 16 times daily from Portarlington to Kildare Village.

We will continue to accept the Free Travel Pass on our N7 service to Dublin Airport. Since March 1st we have been accepting the free travel pass on our M7 service thus allowing you to connect at the Red Cow Luas and travel on to Dublin Airport.

You can now plan a trip with Dublin Coach to Kildare Village, Dublin City or Dublin Airport on presentation of your Free Travel Pass.

We are also delighted to announce that since March 1st we have been accepting the Free Travel Pass on the 307 and 308 routes in Limerick City serving UL and Limerick City Centre

Temporary Stop Changes to Services for St. Patricks Day Festival
12/03/2019

Our services will operate to their normal schedule over St Patricks festival period. However the location of the following stops will be affected due to the events in those areas on Sunday 17th & Monday 18th:

Dublin (Burgh Quay, Custom House Quay), Limerick (Arthurs Quay, Abbeyfeale, 307/308), Killarney (Mission Road), Kilkenny (Ormonde Road), Newbridge (Main St), Waterford (Merchants Quay).

Dublin City Centre - Custom House Quay Stop (M1 Route)

Saturday 16th March 7pm - Tuesday 19th March 6am

Our M1 stop will be closed from 20:00 hours on Friday 16th until 06:00 on Monday 19th. Please use our temporary stop at George's Quay during this time.

Dublin City Centre - Burgh Quay Stop (M7 & M9 Routes)

Sunday 17th March: 07.00 - 16.30

Please use our temporary stop at The Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 2 for all M7 & M9 services between 07:00 - 16:30.

Limerick - Arthurs Quay stop (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th and Monday 18th March: 07:00 – 16:30

Arthurs Quay will be closed to traffic from 7.00 to 16.30. Services during these times will operate to & from the petrol station at the top of the Dock Road, Limerick City (next to Limerick 95 FM studios and Circle K Station).

Abbeyfeale (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th: 12:00 – 15:30

Due to road closures for the St. Patricks Day Parade, the following services will not travel through Abbeyfeale:

  • The 12.15pm service from Dublin to Tralee
  • The 3.30pm service from Tralee to Dublin

Killarney (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 14.00 - 18.30

Because of road closures in Killarney, the 14:30, 16:30 and 18:30 services will depart from Lewis Road Coach Park.

Tralee (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 15.30

All services as normal except for 15.30 service to Dublin which will not stop in Abbeyfeale due to the parade taking place.

Kilkenny - Ormonde Road Stop (M9 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 13.40 - 15.00

We will not have access to our Ormonde Road stop for our 13:40 service to Dublin and 13:45 service to Waterford/Cork. Please use our McDonagh Junction Stop.

Services will depart from Browsers Furniture Shop at the top of William Street on a curtailed route. Regular services should resume from approx. 5.00pm once the roads reopen.

Dublin Coach will accept the Free Travel Pass on our M7 Service from March 1st

Dublin Coach is delighted to announce that effective from March 1st we will accept the Free Travel Pass on our M7 service. The M7 service departs for Dublin 35 times daily from Limerick, 18 times daily from Ennis, 8 times daily from Killarney and 9 times daily from Tralee.

We are also delighted to announce that from March 1st we will accept the Free Travel Pass on the 307 and 308 routes in Limerick City serving UL and Limerick City Centre.

We will continue to accept the Free Travel Pass on our N7 service to Dublin Airport thus allowing you to connect at the Red Cow Luas and travel on to Dublin Airport.
