M7 services: Temporary changes due to Great Limerick Run, Sunday 5th May
03/05/2019

As the Great Limerick Run is taking place on the streets of Limerick this Sunday 05/05/2019 Dublin Coach must make some changes to the bus stops used on the day in Limerick.

Alternative pick-up and drop-off points will be in operation as follows:

  • Arthurs Quay stop: temporary stop on Dock Road between 08:00 - 16:00
  • UL stop: temporary stop next to the Hurlers Pub between 08:30 - 13:00
  • Annacotty stop: not affected

Arthurs Quay Stop:

The stop at Arthurs Quay will not be used between 8.00am and approx. 4.00pm on Sunday 05/05/2019.

Any customers wishing to board buses during this time from Limerick City going to Ennis, Tralee, Killarney or Dublin please go to a temporary bus stop which will be in place on the Dock Road near Limerick 95FM studios. Signs will be in place to indicate the temporary bus stop.

We will send updates on social media on Sunday to indicate when the Arthurs’s Quay stop will reopen.

The Stables Stop, University of Limerick:

The stop at The Stables, UL will be closed on Sunday 05/05/2019 from 8.30am to approx. 1.00pm.

Any customers wishing to board buses during this time going to Ennis, Tralee, or Killarney please go to a temporary bus stop which will be located at the bus stop opposite The Hurlers Pub, Dublin Road, Limerick. Signs will be in place to indicate the temporary bus stop.

M7 Service: Clocks changing on Sunday morning note regarding 1.00am services departing Ennis & Tralee

Both the 1.00am service from Tralee and the 1.00am service from Ennis will depart at 1.00am Winter time on Sunday morning. The clocks will then move an hour forward when these two buses are in transit.

The revised departure times for these two services are:

Use the Free Travel Pass on our M9, Dundrum-Airport & Portarlington services from April 1st

Dublin Coach is delighted to announce that effective from April 1st we will also accept the Free Travel Pass on our M9, Dundrum to Dublin Airport and Portarlington services.

  • The M9 service departs for Dublin 10 times daily from Waterford and 9 times daily from Kilkenny & Cork.
  • The Dundrum service departs 42 times daily from Dundrum to Dublin Airport connecting with our other services at the Red Cow Luas.
  • The Portarlington service departs 16 times daily from Portarlington to Kildare Village.

We will continue to accept the Free Travel Pass on our N7 service to Dublin Airport. Since March 1st we have been accepting the free travel pass on our M7 service thus allowing you to connect at the Red Cow Luas and travel on to Dublin Airport.

You can now plan a trip with Dublin Coach to Kildare Village, Dublin City or Dublin Airport on presentation of your Free Travel Pass.

We are also delighted to announce that since March 1st we have been accepting the Free Travel Pass on the 307 and 308 routes in Limerick City serving UL and Limerick City Centre

Temporary Stop Changes to Services for St. Patricks Day Festival
12/03/2019

Our services will operate to their normal schedule over St Patricks festival period. However the location of the following stops will be affected due to the events in those areas on Sunday 17th & Monday 18th:

Dublin (Burgh Quay, Custom House Quay), Limerick (Arthurs Quay, Abbeyfeale, 307/308), Killarney (Mission Road), Kilkenny (Ormonde Road), Newbridge (Main St), Waterford (Merchants Quay).

Dublin City Centre - Custom House Quay Stop (M1 Route)

Saturday 16th March 7pm - Tuesday 19th March 6am

Our M1 stop will be closed from 20:00 hours on Friday 16th until 06:00 on Monday 19th. Please use our temporary stop at George's Quay during this time.

Dublin City Centre - Burgh Quay Stop (M7 & M9 Routes)

Sunday 17th March: 07.00 - 16.30

Please use our temporary stop at The Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 2 for all M7 & M9 services between 07:00 - 16:30.

Limerick - Arthurs Quay stop (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th and Monday 18th March: 07:00 – 16:30

Arthurs Quay will be closed to traffic from 7.00 to 16.30. Services during these times will operate to & from the petrol station at the top of the Dock Road, Limerick City (next to Limerick 95 FM studios and Circle K Station).

Abbeyfeale (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th: 12:00 – 15:30

Due to road closures for the St. Patricks Day Parade, the following services will not travel through Abbeyfeale:

  • The 12.15pm service from Dublin to Tralee
  • The 3.30pm service from Tralee to Dublin

Killarney (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 14.00 - 18.30

Because of road closures in Killarney, the 14:30, 16:30 and 18:30 services will depart from Lewis Road Coach Park.

Tralee (M7 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 15.30

All services as normal except for 15.30 service to Dublin which will not stop in Abbeyfeale due to the parade taking place.

Kilkenny - Ormonde Road Stop (M9 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 13.40 - 15.00

We will not have access to our Ormonde Road stop for our 13:40 service to Dublin and 13:45 service to Waterford/Cork. Please use our McDonagh Junction Stop.

Waterford - Merchants Quay Stop (M9 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 13.00 - 15.00

Please use our temporary stop on Bridge Street at Treacys Hotel for the 13:00 service to Dublin and 14:25 service to Cork

Newbridge - Main St. Stop (N7 Route)

Sunday 17th March: 11.30 - 15.00

We will not have access to our Main Street stops between 11:30 and 15:00. Coaches will divert via Athgarvan Road in both directions with a temporary stop at Pitch & Putt Course

Sunday 17th & Monday 18th

Services will depart from Browsers Furniture Shop at the top of William Street on a curtailed route. Regular services should resume from approx. 5.00pm once the roads reopen.

Dublin Coach will accept the Free Travel Pass on our M7 Service from March 1st

Dublin Coach is delighted to announce that effective from March 1st we will accept the Free Travel Pass on our M7 service. The M7 service departs for Dublin 35 times daily from Limerick, 18 times daily from Ennis, 8 times daily from Killarney and 9 times daily from Tralee.

We are also delighted to announce that from March 1st we will accept the Free Travel Pass on the 307 and 308 routes in Limerick City serving UL and Limerick City Centre.

We will continue to accept the Free Travel Pass on our N7 service to Dublin Airport thus allowing you to connect at the Red Cow Luas and travel on to Dublin Airport.

Clocks changing on Sunday: Note regarding 1.00am services from Ennis and Tralee on Sun 28th Oct

Both the 1.00am service from Tralee and the 1.00am service from Ennis will depart at 1.00am Summer time on Sunday morning.

M7 Service: Temporary Stop Change in UL this Sunday 30th Septemer

Because of an event taking place on the grounds of UL on Sunday 30th September, the bus stop at The Stables cannot be used between 11.30am and 2pm.

During this time all services will be using the bus stop located between The Stables and the flagpoles entrance.

How to get to our Temporary Stop Location

From The Stables, walk towards the flagpoles entrance, past the new library, through the roundabout, and you will see the bus stop on the right hand side of the road, just after the roundabout.

M7 Service: Bus stop relocation & new bus shelter for Bunratty
27/08/2018

The Bunratty bus stop for Limerick/Dublin-bound services has been relocated to the newly built bus shelter that is located in front of JP Clarkes pub & Gallaghers Restuarant approx 100m to the right of the old bus stop, and opposite our existing Ennis-bound bus stop.

M7 Service: Changes to Killarney stops in effect from 29/08/2018
20/08/2018

From Wednesday 29th August, all Killarney services will commence & terminate at our Mission Road stop - we will no longer be serving the bus stops at East Avenue or The Gleneagle Hotel.

Dublin-bound services will commence from Mision Road at the current East Avenue departure times: 4.30am, 6.30am, 7.30am, 9.30am, 11.30am, 2.30pm, 4.30pm, 6.30pm.
Killarney-bound services will terminate at Mission Road at the current stop arrival times.

Temporary Stop changes 25th-26th August due to the Papal Visit:
20/08/2018

Due to traffic diversion for the Papal visit this weekend, our M7 and M9 services will depart from Custom House Quay & drop off on Georges Quay.

Diversions will be in place during the following times:

  • Saturday 25th: between 10:00 and 19:00
  • Sunday 26th: between 07:00 and 24:00

We expect delays due to traffic volumes before and after the events on both days.

Our N7 and M1 services departing and dropping off in Dublin City will be unaffected.

All-Ireland Final, August 19th

August 19th: Limerick vs Galway  3.30pm

We advise passengers intending to travel to the All-Ireland final to book the earliest possible service to allow sufficient time for extended journey times.

Large volumes of traffic are expected on the M7, and ongoing road works on a section of this route may also impact travel time.

All-Ireland Final: August 19th 3:30pm - Limerick vs Galway

We advise all passengers intending to travel on this date to allow sufficient time when making their reservation for the large volumes of traffic using the M7 in the morning, which will likely result in extended journey times.

In addition there are ongoing road works on a section of this route which may impact travel time and are beyond our control.

We urge all supporters to book the earliest possible service and hope that all have an enjoyable day in Croke Park!

M7 Service: Killarney Departures reverting to timetable from Wednesday 8th

As the roadworks in Farrenfore have finished and the N23 has reopened, our Killarney schedule will return to our normal timetable from Wednesday 08/08/2018.

Please note that for the rest of today, Tuesday 7th August, services will continue to depart 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Large volumes of traffic are expected on the M7, and ongoing road works on a section of this route may also impact travel time.

Please note that in the eventuality of Limerick U17 hurlers also making the semi-final this will likely have a 1.30pm throw-in and passengers may require an earlier service to be in attendance for this game also.

M7 Express: Temporary Stop Changes at Gleneagle Killarney until 7th June
28/05/2018

Due to an event taking place at The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, our stop at the hotel is inaccessible from Monday 28th May until Thursday 7th June.

During this time there will be no arrivals to or departures from The Gleneagle Hotel. Please proceed to our stop at East Avenue in the town centre to board a bus.

Dublin-bound services will depart from our stop at East Avenue, Killarney Town at: 4:20am, 6:20am, 7:20am, 9:20am, 11:20am, 2:20pm, 4:20pm and 6:20pm.

Killarney-bound services will terminate at our Mission Road stop.
