Announcing the launch of the new Dublin Coach, M1 express route between Belfast and Dublin

City to City – No stops

Luxury transport provider Dublin Coach has been changing the commuter's travel experience since the company was founded in 2003. The Company`s main aim, whilst transporting over 3 million passengers approx. per year has been its focus on offering customers quality and comfort at affordable prices. March 23rd 2017 will see the launch of an exciting new M1 express service departing from Custom Quay, Dublin and Glengall St, Belfast city providing 16 daily services in each direction.

The launch of the new M1 express route comes in the month of March, when the company will be celebrating its ten years in business anniversary. Dublin Coach has opted for a direct service with no stops on the route between the cities and the reasoning for this has been explained by Aoife Dunphy, Marketing Manager for the Dublin Coach Group. She explained "Dublin Coach are delighted to provide a direct service with no stops for our new M1 express service as we received much needed feedback from our loyal customer following. The main aim of this new route is to give'more for less' to our customer between cities with no stops. By this we want to provide more daily services, more leg room, less costs with more comfort on board. We are really excited to add Belfast to our ever expanding nationwide network."

Fares for the Dublin Coach M1 express service will be €10 or £8 one way with both currencies accepted at each of the stops. The Dublin stop will be located on Custom House Quay in the city center and the the Belfast stop will be located at Glengall street in the city center with drop off points in each direction located at the same stops. Similar to all Dublin Coach services nationwide, two children u-12 will travel free with every paying adult.

Dublin Coach can be easily recognised by their distinctive green livery and will have new Mercedes coaches operating the route with increased leg room, reclining leather seats, free wi-fi and toilet on board. With the travel time set to be less than 2 hours city to city, this should increase the standard of both domestic and tourism based travel between the two cities.

Dublin Coach has received unlimited support for this initiative from the hospitality sector, local businesses, county boards, the tourism and education industry, radio and newspaper providers as well as the people of Belfast and Dublin and surrounding areas. For more information about this new M1 Express route, please see the M1 Express Service page or call us on 01 4659972.
