More about the Partnership

Speaking about the sponsorship, John O`Sullivan, CEO of Dublin Coach remarked:

"I am delighted today to announce details of Dublin Coach`s Sponsorship of the IGB and of the Harold`s Cross Puppy Derby. We do believe that is this is a very fitting association for our brand.  For us, there are two key factors that influenced this whole partnership - Irish heritage and connectivity.  Greyhound racing is appreciated across Ireland, it is the very fabric of our culture and the subject of lively conversation across many settings.  At Dublin Coach, we believe in providing quality transport experiences and connections.   Through this association we are providing the infrastructure to connect the greater Irish community and the tourist with an authentic Irish experience and one of the nation`s most loved sports – Greyhound Racing"

Phil Meaney Chairman of IGB said at the launch:

"I wish firstly to pay tribute to the Harold’s Cross Bookmakers who for almost a decade sponsored this Classic event, and furthermore to confirm that they will continue to sponsor at Harold’s Cross with the commencement of the Marathon later this year.  I am equally as delighted to announce our newest partner in sponsorship for the Irish Greyhound Industry – Dublin Coach.  He continued, “We are excited to partner a company who share our vision on community, heritage and racing. Not only will they be the official sponsor for the Puppy Derby but they will also become our travel partner at 3 venues initially – Harold’s Cross, Shelbourne Park & Limerick – providing transport from the city centres direct to our doors.  In fact their travel corridor will now make it possible to leave Limerick, go racing in Shelbourne Park and return that night!"
