The 24th of May saw a huge turnout for the Irish 1,000 Guineas which ran in conjunction with the ever popular ladies day hosted at The Curragh.
Dublin Coach recently announced that they would be continuing the 2014 partnership with the Curragh into 2015 and will be the main transport providers for the coming season. The beautiful colt Bantry Bay proved a hugely popular winner on the day and returned at 4/5 favourite when beating a gallant Ashoka into second on the final run in. Trained by Mr Aidan O Brien and owned by Mr John Magnier it is easy to see why the crowd hung on for ‘The Dublin Coach to The Curragh EBF Maiden’ which was the last race on this sun drenched Sunday afternoon.
